A little day-cation

I had a doctor's appointment in the afternoon, so I had a little bit of time off.  I planned to take a walk with a friend who just had twins.  She suggested Minnehaha Falls.  What a beautiful park.  There are so many hidden gems where we all live - It is unbelievable how simply beautiful a waterfall is.

Minnesota, specifically, the twin cities have some really incredible things to do for kids, here is a very short list, I'm sure I will add more ~

1.  Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater (don't forget to make a stop at the candy shop when you are done)
2.   Choo Choo Bobs in St. Paul
3.  Minnesota Children's Museum
4.  Afton Apple (best visited in the fall)
5.  Giggle Factory in Hudson
6.  Blast in Eagan
7.  Lookout Ridge at the Woodbury Library
8.  Lake Elmo Park reserve (complete with a beach, park, and lots of trails)
9.  Lark Toystore
10. Sievers Corn Maze in Shakopee
11.  Minnehaha Falls
12. Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
